Conducted training program for female health volunteers alliance with NCD

On the occasion of World Cancer Day 2024, Avant Garde Solutions, in collaboration with the Nepal Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Alliance, organized a one-day training program focused on Breast Cancer Awareness and Screening. The session was specifically designed for Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs) representing all 32 wards of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
The training aimed to equip FCHVs with essential knowledge and practical skills to raise awareness about breast cancer, promote early detection, and support timely referral within their communities. Through expert-led sessions and interactive discussions, the program highlighted key information on risk factors, symptoms, self-examination techniques, and the importance of regular screening.
This initiative reflects a shared commitment to strengthening community-level healthcare and empowering frontline health workers with the tools they need to combat non-communicable diseases more effectively.
