The findings show that smartphones are primarily used for communication, browsing social media, and taking photos—making them essential tools in everyday life. Most users replace their phones only when the device stops working, though many plan to upgrade within the next six months.
Personal preference and recommendations from friends and family are the biggest influences on purchase decisions. Mobile retail stores are the most preferred place to buy smartphones, while some users also choose to purchase from abroad. Camera quality, particularly the rear camera, ranks highest among prioritized features, while price and brand play a smaller role for most users.
